Sudbury Real Estate

Located in the MetroWest just one town north of Framingham lies Sudbury. A town full of history that coincidentally has the distinct 01776 zip code. A historic landmark found here is the Wayside Inn, claimed to be one of the oldest inns in the country. Henry Wadsworth Longfellow wrote “Tales of The Wayside Inn” that was a book of poems that included one about Paul Revere’s famous ride. The inn was also once owned by Henry Ford, who purchased it in the 1920’s and had restored it.

Today, the town’s center continues to reflect history and character. Churches and town buildings have been preserved with their original beauty. Sudbury’s one acre zoning has also helped preserve the rural-like environment and has played a part in making the town one of the most affluent in the state. Preserved wetlands, sprawling conservation land and restricted commercial growth has led Sudbury to be consistently a desirable town to live in.
