Settled in 1642, Lexington has flourished into a population of approximately 32,000. Known as the site of the first shots of the American Revolutionary War in 1775, Lexington has been popular for its role in history. For many years Lexington was a farming community which served produce to Boston.
Around the 1960’s, many of the farms had been transforming into developments for housing. Soon after with countless businesses opening up along the 128 corridor, Lexington became a desirable town to live in for professionals and property values began to rise as a result. Today Lexington has some of the best school systems in Massachusetts. This along with beautiful homes and a lovely town center with art galleries, shopping and dining establishments make Lexington a highly sought after community.
